We see universal design as a meta discipline of design. We support companies, the science sector and society in the development of analog and digital products, services and concepts.
Illustration of plain language as a tool for the corporate world, politics and society to communicate with diverse user groups from a typographic angle.
What exactly is plain language? Originally designed for people with cognitive limitations, the tool currently is used in numerous areas. What must be kept in mind when designing the language? What are the roles of typography and programming? How is it implemented and in what ways do companies have to adjust their corporate design to be able to communicate without barriers? Sabina Sieghart, who has conducted research in the field since 2016, will present the results of two studies and practical works and will discuss the potential of new digital tools.
