The Museum Villa Stuck is a unique Artist's Residence as well as a nationally and internationally renowned place of encounter for visual and applied art from the 19th to the 21st century.
More than 150 works by Karen Pontoppidan (born 1968 in Kerteminde,mDK) from the last 20 years give an insight into the work of one of the most influential jewelry artists of our time.
The exhibition includes close to 150 works created by Karen Pontoppidan (born 1968 in Kerteminde, Denmark) over the past 20 years. From 2006 to 2015, Pontoppidan was a professor at Konstfack Stockholm, in 2015 she was appointed professor at Akademie der Bildenden Künste München.
With THE ONE WOMAN GROUP SHOW, Karen Pontoppidan focuses on how a field so strongly conditioned by tradition and the history of species can react to our era, to controversial matters and to existential problems.
