Auer Weber Architekten



Prof. Dipl.-Ing. Architekt M. Arch., born 1933 in Tübingen, studied at the TH Stuttgart and at Cranbrook Academy of Arts, Bloomfield Hills, Michigan, USA. He graduated in Stuttgart in 1962. From 1965 he was a partner of Behnisch & Partner, until he founded his own office in cooperation with Carlo Weber in 1980. Auer was professor of Building Construction and Design at the FH München from 1985 to 1992, and professor of Design at Stuttgart State Academy of Art and Design from 1993 to 2001. He has been a member of the Bund Deutscher Architekten and since 1993 of the Academy of Arts in Berlin. Auer repeatedly won the Deutscher Architekturpreis of the Federal Association of Architects and the BDA Nike Award. In 2014 he was decorated with the Leo-von-Klenze-Medaille by the Bavarian government.
