Tom Hegen



Tom Hegen works as a photographer and graphic designer in Munich. In his photo projects, he deals with the strong influence of humans on their environment. He studied communication design at the University of Augsburg in Germany, at Falmouth University in England, and at the University of Applied Sciences in Constance, Germany. Tom Hegen uses the stylistic elements of abstraction and aestheticization in his aerial photography to draw attention to environmental issues.


His work has already received renowned design awards such as the Red Dot Best of the Best Award, the European Design Award, the ADC Award, the DDC Award, the Adobe Design Achievement Award and the German Design Award. His photographs have been published worldwide in exhibitions, magazines, and newspapers.
